These camps cater to both kids and adults, some are disability specific and some are more general. Finding the right camp can be difficult but hopefully these lists and links will help narrow the field!
Building Bridges Camp – Hillsborough, CA is designed to give individuals who use AAC/AT (ages 5 – 17) an opportunity to develop their communication skills in a fun, motivating, no-pressure environment.
MassGeneral Children’s Hospital Adventure Summer Camp in Westwood, MA provides children, with high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related profile with a time-honored activity – the summer camp.
Camp Communicate in Maine is an overnight family camp/retreat, for fluent AAC users, ages 8-20.
