ATIA Call for Presentations (Want to Attend for FREE?)
Do you use Microsoft technology in your classroom to engage students with disabilities? Do you want to attend ATIA 2015 for free? If you answered ‘yes’ to both of those questions, keep reading!
We have extended the deadline to Friday, October 10, to submit your presentation for the Microsoft Education Strand. Submit your presentation for the chance to share your experiences and best practices with others. And, if you are chosen to present, you will receive a FREE registration to ATIA 2015! Act fast to take advantage of this opportunity, submissions are now due Friday, October 10, 2014 at 5 p.m. CST.
What to Submit:
We are seeking sessions that combine great teaching and learning activities for your students with disabilities, as well as innovative and unique ways to use Microsoft technologies in the curriculum. Sessions that utilize Microsoft technology for the integration of students with disabilities into mainstream classrooms are also encouraged.
Microsoft technologies include but are not limited to:
- Office 365
- Lync
- Skype
- Windows tablets
- Windows 8
- Yammer
- Special Ed apps running on Windows
- Kinect
Target Level: Pre-K through Higher Education.
Open to: New speakers and ATIA 2015 Speakers. If you have already submitted a session for ATIA 2015, you are eligible to submit additional proposals. Please note that ATIA exhibitors and members are excluded from this Call for Presentations.
Number of Proposals: Up to two proposals per speaker.
Multiple speakers: Up to two speakers per proposal – one Primary Speaker and one Co-Speaker
Speaker Benefits: Speakers will receive a complimentary* registration to the ATIA 2015 conference. Speakers will be responsible for their own travel and lodging. Speakers will also receive a special thank you gift from ATIA for participating in the strand.
